Family Session

FAQ's

- What are the options for an updated family session ?

You are welcome to come to my in-home studio where you can choose from a stylized, boho vibe, or a more neutral background.

I also offer outdoor sessions and will choose a specific park that's local based off the season.

- Can we include our dog?

HECK YES! If you haven't read my about me page, I'm a huge animal lover. I don't have a dog of my own yet, so anytime I get some puppy time I am super pumped.

Depending on how many other kids are involved, I may ask you to bring a potential extra set of hands to help wrangle your dog and be on treat duty.

- What if it rains on the day of our outdoor session?

Not to fear! This happens all the time, especially within the most recent years. I offer rain dates and even block them off ahead of time to make sure there's flexibility to reschedule.

If you are super busy and can't manage a rain date, then just come on over to the studio!

Attention to details

Quality is everything in family photography. It’s what turns a simple photo into a lasting memory—something you’ll proudly frame, share, and keep for years to come.

From the lighting and composition to the emotion captured in each image, quality ensures your family's story is told with care and intention. Because these moments are too meaningful for anything less.

Attention to detail is something I've crafted over the years in so many different ways. This ranges from ensuring the light placement and angle I'm photographing is flattering, Scouting an outdoor location before the day of the session to ensure a strong background, and learning the names of each family member.

All of these small factors are at play when creating strong, quality images of your family. It doesn't matter how beautiful a photo is, if mom's hair is not placed properly am I right?

Clear, thoughtful communication is key to a great family photography experience.

It helps set expectations, ease nerves, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and prepared.

From planning outfits to choosing the perfect location, open communication builds trust and makes the entire process smooth and enjoyable—so you can relax, have fun, and truly be yourself in front of the camera.
